Bloc Party frontman Kele Okereke has found a new creative outlet - he's writing his first book.
The British rocker is putting his music career on hold to move to New York and finish the project, and admits his latest venture is now his main priority.
He tells NME.com, "I'm moving to Manhattan in the next couple of weeks. I'm writing a book and I want to go somewhere and finish it.
"We (Bloc Party) had a meeting before Christmas, but I'm just focused on the book at the moment. I'm not thinking about anything like that (music) right now."
The Helicopter hitmakers have been on hiatus since 2009, while Okereke released his first solo offering, The Boxer, last year (10).
