Erin Martin turned a few heads in the latest episode of The Voice, with her skimpy outfit, if not her vocal range. Dressed in a stunning cream and black bodice with hot-pants, stocking-style tights and a pair of thigh high spandex boots, the young model made sure that the judges were well and truly distracted from her shaky performance. Blake Shelton was obviously awed by her choice of outfit, as his feedback for her performance revealed: "Erin, I am so glad you wore that. I'm married now, and girls wearing outfits like that is all I have left. I pick Erin.'
Yesterday (March 20, 2012), The Daily Mail described her performance of Tina Turner's 'What's Love Got To Do With It?' as "pitchy and all over the place." Even her celebrity mentor Ne Yo expressed concerns that Erin's 'talent' may be a case of style over substance, telling her "I'm looking at you, you're cute. But there's a lot of cute in the world. What else you got?" before explaining that he was looking for "more than a pretty face." Despite being called 'The Voice' and supposedly focusing on the contestants' singing ability, Erin seemed to attract more commentary on her looks than her vocal talent.
