Blake Shelton says getting divorced was the best diet ever.
The 'Voice' coach and Miranda Lambert ended their marriage in July and Blake - who has been sporting a noticeably slimmer frame recently - joked that he was on the divorce diet.
When asked how he lost weight, Blake joked on America's Morning Show with Blair Garner: ''Well you know, you should try the divorce diet.''
He added: ''I just think, not the actual break-up part, but just the whole stress of getting through all of that is just weird.
''No I am doing great, but it's just I wasn't eating as much I guess. I wasn't like going to the gym, just stay as busy as you can to keep your mind off anything.''
Blake's rep told E! News: ''He's doing the two things he hates to do - diet and exercise.''
Blake, 39, filed for divorce from singer Miranda, 31, on July 20 after four years of marriage and was shocked by how quickly it was finalised.
He told the Bobby Bones Show: ''In Oklahoma, it happens so fast. Miranda and I didn't have any kids, and we had our prenuptial agreement, whatever we had. Once we filed for divorce, it was over in a nine- or 10-day waiting period.''
