Gossip Girl star Blake Lively wants to test her culinary and business skills by opening her own restaurant in New York City.
The food enthusiast has been busy shooting several films over the last few years but Lively insists she's ready to take some time off and plan a new venture.
In an interview with Elle magazine, Lively admits she's hoping to spend much of 2012 finding time to "relax and travel and cook and recuperate a bit".
And The Town star, who recently completed a three-day course at famed culinary school Le Cordon Bleu, reveals she's also eyeing "a brunch place".
She tells the style publication it will be "Downtown" and feature her own recipes. She adds, "I want to be 100 per cent involved."
