The couple urge people to undergo local first aid classes.
There are some important skills a parent must learn regardless of whether or not they'll ever need it. Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are trying to encourage new parents to take classes in child CPR - just in case they one day have to save their child's life.

Becoming a parent means learning a lot of new skills as you go along. Something that you are not going to want to learn as you go, however, is child first aid - more specifically CPR. Hopefully, neither Blake Lively nor Ryan Reynolds will ever be forced to perform this life-saving procedure on either of their daughters; Ines and James; but that doesn't mean they don't need to be prepared.

“She always responds with empathy. She meets anger with empathy. She meets hate with empathy,” Reynolds said about his wife of five years and mother of his two children. “She'll take the time to imagine what happened to a person when they were five or six years old. And she's made me a more empathetic person.”

Could we see the teen drama return with the cast of characters all grown up?
For six seasons, The CW series 'Gossip Girl' entertained audiences across the globe with its unique style of telling the teen drama story that had been played out so many times before. With a mysterious being known only as 'Gossip Girl' spreading rumours; some truthful, some not so truthful, about the privileged youngsters on the upper east side, it was one of the most compelling and jaw-dropping television shows of the late 2000s and early 2010s.
Blake Lively in 'Age Of Adaline'
Eventually it was revealed that Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley) was the person behind the salacious gossip website, hoping to work his way into the world of elitism that would usually close its doors to people such as he. Planting stories about himself to get noticed, he played a brilliant game to make sure that he was one of those most frequently mentioned by 'Gossip Girl'.
The actress marched in New York City on Saturday.

The actress shared a photo of herself on Instagram posing beside a little girl in a wheelchair holding a sign which read, "Let's make American kind again,” and explained that as a mom of two girls, the march was particularly important to her.
Reynolds has previously said that his 'Deadpool' role caused him a great deal of stress and anxiety before the film was released.
Ryan Reynolds has credited his wife Blake Lively for keeping him “sane” during the most stressful and difficult periods of his career, particularly as he prepared for Deadpool, the actor has said in a new interview.
The 40 year old actor has been nominated for the Golden Globes for his role as the masked anti-hero, in what is his first major awards nomination in the Best Actor (Musical or Comedy) category. He has recently won the Critics’ Choice Award for the same role, a good indicator that he’ll be scooping more prizes in the near future.
However, the Wade Wilson / Deadpool role caused Reynolds a great deal of anxiety long before this, aggravating a condition he’s battled for his whole life.

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds have another daughter
Two weeks ago, the 'Deadpool' star posted a very much not unusual joke about his parenthood issues on Twitter, but this time he revealed way too much information than he was allowed to. To make matters worse, he then categorically confirmed that he had two daughters to Conan O'Brien on Wednesday (November 2nd 2016), quipping about the oestrogen levels in his house.
Swift enjoyed a Halloween party with her squad.
Taylor Swift’s been keeping a pretty low profile in the couple of months since she and Tom Hiddleston split, but if there’s one thing that’ll always bring her out of hiding, it’s a public holiday, and this Halloween she went out on the town in style – dressed in Ryan Reynolds’ actual Deadpool costume.
The 27 year old singer and her star-studded squad made a great night of it on Monday, as she and her pals got together in New York for a party, capturing the moment on Instagram.

Lively stars in Allen’s latest film 'Cafe Society'.
Blake Lively couldn't believe her luck when she landed a role in Woody Allen’s lastest film Cafe Society. The actress has a small part in the comedy/drama, but says she would have taken any role to work with Allen, because the writer and director “really, really writes to women”.
Blake Lively stars in Woody Allen’s latest film, Cafe Society
“I didn't care if it was one line, one scene, or playing a janitor,” she told The Independent. “He's one of the few filmmakers who really, really writes to women. They're fully realised women; they're not one thing or the other."

With a simple premise and plenty of visual style, Spanish filmmaker Jaume Collet-Serra (Unknown) takes the audience on a terrifying odyssey involving a lone woman and a menacing shark. What emerges is a gruelling one-woman show, as Blake Lively throws herself into a ferocious cat and mouse game that's relentlessly suspenseful.
She plays Nancy, a young medical school drop-out on a pilgrimage to a mythical beach her mother told her about before dying of cancer. So she has very personal reasons to visit it. And with the help of nice-guy guide Carlos (Oscar Jaenada), she finds it on a remote stretch of Mexico's coastline. After video chatting with her father and sister (Brett Cullen and Sedona Legge), she paddles out to join a couple of local surfers. Then when she decides to stay for one last wave on her own, the great white pounces. Injured and alone, she takes refuge on a tiny rock that will disappear when the tide rises. And in order to survive, she'll have to get creative.
Shot in Australia, the film is carefully assembled to ratchet up the intensity right from the start. Collet-Serra gleefully stirs in plenty of creepy Jaws-like insinuation, hinting at what's coming long before he reveals the enormous single-minded shark. The combination of digital effects and rubbery models never quite looks real, but the film is so sharply well-made that we never mind. And besides, Lively does a great job at convincing us that she's in proper peril. This is a full-bodied performance, so grounded and authentic that Lively is able to take the audience through the ordeal right with Nancy. Her experience in the water is bolstered through visions and flashbacks that add a surprising emotions. And her banter with Carlos offers some insight into her feisty personality.

The former 'Gossip Girl' actress said that women should not feel pressured into slimming down to their pre-baby body sizes after birth.
Blake Lively has revealed her frustration at society’s expectations of what a woman’s body should look like after giving birth, describing the pressure to slim down as “unfair”.
Appearing on Australian morning show ‘Sunrise’ on Wednesday (August 11th), the 28 year old actress, who is currently pregnant with her second child with her husband Ryan Reynolds, was promoting her new movie The Shallows.
It was filmed a few months after Lively had given birth to her first daughter James, who is now 19 months old. When the interviewer complimented her on her bikini-ready figure in the movie, she questioned why it was that every woman was increasingly expected to look like that.

The CFDA's wasn't just about Rihanna's dress.
If you really matter in the fashion world, then last night (June 2nd) you would have found yourself attending The CFDA awards or the Oscars of fashion, as they’re also known. Being honoured at the ceremony was the bad girl herself, Rihanna, who certainly lived up to her nickname with her risque choice of dress. But while most eyes were focused on RiRi, there were also plenty more head turning looks on this year's red carpet. Here's some of the looks we loved from last night, plus a few we were less decided on.
Blake Lively chose a 60s inspired look for the evening
After her recent red carpet triumphs at the Met Ball and Cannes, Blake Lively ditched the gowns in favour of a gold beaded Michael Kors mini dress. The actress then topped off her 60s inspired look with a bouffant hair-do accessorised with a thick silver headband plus plenty of bracelets adorning one arm.
Fashion's finest waltzed down the red carpet at last night's Met Gala, but did everybody get it right?
Fashion’s biggest annual event took place last night. The Met Gala 2014 is probably the glitziest event of the year, Oscars included, and gives the celebs the chance to really go to town with their attire. Last night’s do was no different, with the world’s top fashion houses grabbing the opportunity to deck out a celeb in their latest designs. So, who wore what?

Scarlett Johansson has spoken openly about her split from Ryan Reynolds
It's shaping up to be a massive few years for Scarlett Johansson, whose star continues to rise in both Hollywood and on Broadway. The actress, easily one of the most in-demand in the world, will appear in Joseph Gordon-Levitt's anticipated new movie Don Jon as well as slipping back into her Black Widow cat-suit for the Captain America sequel 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier.'
It's perhaps easy to forget that Johansson suffered a very public split and subsequent divorce from Ryan Reynolds just a couple of years ago. Movie star Reynolds has since married Blake Lively, while Scarlett has been linked with the likes of Sean Penn, Jared Leto, New York ad executive Nate Naylor and Frenchman Romain Dauriac. Quizzed by Marie Claire about the fallout from her divorce, Johansson said, "Well, it wasn't that long ago. But I think I've had a fair amount of time to process the experience and be able to move forward. I continue to get to know myself better as I get older, and that helps me in my relationships."
Take note guys, Scarlett also shared her dating pet peeve, saying, "I don't like jealous behavior. I don't mind an occasional check-in, but when somebody is passive-aggressively jealous, it's really unattractive because it shows a sort of insecurity." Oh, and she's not a fan of social media either, "All of it drives me crazy.I don't understand this need to 'share.' We almost exploit ourselves in order to feel seen."

Fashionistas and Gossip Girl fans alike were up-in-arms this week after seeing photographs of Blake Lively out and about in New York. The actress has kept an extremely low-profile since marrying Ryan Reynolds last year, though fashion critics were hardly enamoured with her 'comeback outfit' this week.
Looking perhaps her most subdued ever, Lively opted for comfort over style and donned an oversized cream sweater, with a simple khaki trench and pretty boring looking brown leggings. Two-toned brown boots finished off the one-colour look. E! Online said, "Her usually voluptuous hair even seemed to be lacking a bit of its sparkle," asking fans, "What exactly is going on here?!" Perhaps the new Mrs Ryan Reynolds is just taking the whole marriage thing seriously - as she should be - and she's certainly emptied her filming schedule for the coming year at least. The Opposing Views website has a different take on Lively's rather bleugh outfit, suggesting that she may well be pregnant. "Personally, I say yes. Going on looks alone, she could easily be hiding a bump under that coat and oversized sweater," reads the article.
If Blake's not pregnant, she most definitely has babies on the brain. "Oh, my gosh! I just want Beyoncé to be the mother of my children," she told E! News at the launch of Gucci Premiere fragrance in New York on Monday. "She was amazing! I can't, I can't even. I don't even have words for her."

The 12-12-12 Concert, which took place on, yes, the 12th this month, was a rousing success, with over 20 million viewers tuning in nation-wide and $30 million raised, according to Nielsen estimates.
The lineup was an eclectic mix of big names in the business like Bruce Springsteen, Nirvana along with Sir Paul McCartney (that was definitely a curious collaboration), Alicia Keys and Eric Clapton, among others. It featured a number of New York natives, who urged the nation to open their pockets and donate to the relief effort. The show also featured a number of guest appearances by celebrities, representing their native areas, like Kristen Stewart, Adam Sandler, Jimmy Fallon and Blake Lively among others.
The event wasn’t without its controversy either, as a comment made by Mick Jagger sparked a mini storm (no pun intended) among Twitter users. The line, which went “When it rains in London, you’ve got to come in and help us.” quickly made the rounds and managed to enrage some of the more sensitive viewers, but it seemed to be more of a foot-in-mouth moment, rather than carry any malicious intent on Jagger’s part. Regardless of that little moment though, the event seems to have been a success all round, with Americans all over the country pitching in to rebuild one of the nation’s most prominent cities.
Has Leonardo Dicaprio moved on from his split with Victoria's Secret model Erin Heatherton already? It certainly seems to be the case with onlookers suggesting he got very cosy with a co-star at a recent bash.
The serial dater and Golden Globe winning actor ended his relationship with Erin after ten months, reportedly because she wanted to get more 'serious' and Leo, who has been in numerous high profile relationships, feels he is not yet ready to commit having not yet had a go with all the models of Hollywood. He's not far off though. He has already romanced the likes of Kristen Zang, Emma Miller, Gisele Bundchen, Bar Refaeli and actress (for a change) Blake Lively.
Now, it seems he's back on actresses after being seen spending a lot of time in the company of his 'The Wolf of Wolf Street' co-star Margot Robbie. At a recent Las Vegas party for businessman Jho Low, an onlooker told The New York Post: 'There looks to be some strong chemistry between Leo and his leading lady. They spent a lot of time at the party together.'

Amber Tamblyn and David Cross' wedding may well be up there with the coolest celebrity nuptials ever after details of their big day surfaced online. We say 'details', we were actually treated to an Instagram album thanks to The Roots musician Questlove, who documented the day on his smartphone!
The ceremony - dubbed The Wedding in the Woods in an Instagram hashtag - took place on Saturday (October 6, 2012) and played host to a plethora of celebrity guests including Ryan Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively, comedienne Amy Poehler, Jason Ritter and Kristen Schaal. But that's not all; it seems the booked entertainment for the evening was equally as high profile, with rock filmmaker Lance Bangs sharing the details online, saying, "Yo La Tengo playing Superchunk, Mission of Burma, and Pixies covers at David and Amber's wedding." Cross' representative later confirmed to MTV News that Questlove also served as the evening's DJ.
Tamblyn, who next stars in Quentin Tarantino's 'Django Unchained', accepted her husband's marriage proposal in 2011 after the pair had dated for several years. Cross is currently working on the highly anticipated 'Arrested Development' reunion series and movie.
Salma Hayek certainly stole the spotlight at a London photo-call for her new movie ‘Savages’ this week. The actress wore a hugely revealing dress, leading director Oliver Stone to jokingly try cop a feel of the star.
Photographs published on the Mail Online website show the Oscar-winning director getting a little too touch-feely with Hayek as the stars posed on the red carpet at London’s Mandarin Oriental hotel. The 46-year-old actress seemed to laugh off the unwanted attention, and Stone has been happily married to his wife Sun-Jung Jung since 1997! To be fair to the legendary auteur, Hayek was looking stunning in a fitted aubergine and teal dress, with a trim belt, accentuating her famous curves. The brunette star – who is married to the French multi-billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault – was joined by co-stars Benicio Del Toro and John Travolta, who both looked pretty dapper.
Blake Lively – another star of the new violent drama – skipped the promotional duties as she has begun work on Gossip Girl in New York. The actress recently tied the knot with Ryan Reynolds in a secret South Carolina ceremony.
Going back to work so soon after getting married would be a drag for most people. For Blake Lively, though, returning to the set of Gossip Girl was a treat, as her colleagues had arranged a low-key toast for the newlywed. A source on-set told People magazine that the cast all raised a glass of ‘champagne’ (except it was actually ginger ale). One of the show’s producers interrupted filming and said “Someone got hitched!! Mazel tov!” to which Blake joked “I know, I heard!” before laughing and thanking her colleagues for their good wishes.
Blake wasn’t wearing her engagement ring on her first day back on set but considering recent reports that it would have set her new husband Ryan Reynolds back somewhere in the region of $2 million, then frankly, we’re not surprised she didn’t fancy wearing the fancy rock to work. Even without the ring, though, the new bride was still looking her usual eye-catching self. “Blake is stunning,” said the source. “She looked absolutely gorgeous.”
Blake Lively married Ryan Reynolds on the down-low, in South Carolina. The media barely caught wind of their big day before it happened and it seems as though the couple managed to enjoy their honeymoon in relative peace, too. They spent the weekend in Virginia, where they stayed at the Inn at Little Washington. A customer at a local café told People “They came in and bought some farmstead cheese and house baked goods to go... He was very courtly, which is a word we like to use around here. He was very sweet to her. They seemed very serene and happy to be with each other. They seemed right at home.”
When photos emerged of Blake Lively returning to work on Gossip Girl, the eager snappers struggled to get a photo of her sparkling new ring but she kept the rock well-hidden. Celebuzz.com, however, have published snaps of Blake and her new husband Ryan Reynolds, which were reportedly taken the day after their nuptials in South Carolina. And it's a hell of a diamond that Blake's sporting, too. According to Celebuzz.com, Ryan will have shelled out between $1.2 million and $2 million on Blake's ring.
A leading jeweller confirmed that the ring will have cost around $2 million. "The ring is an oval cut diamond, roughly 12 'carat total weight' (which describes the total weight in carats of all the diamonds in a piece of jewelry) depending on the way it was cut. Depending on clarity and color, I would say at the minimum this retails for $1.2 million, but closer to $2 million," explained Adelaide Polk-Bauman of Forevermark Diamonds. "It looks particularly brilliant." If those figures turn out to be true then it's really no wonder that Lively has decided not to wear the dazzling new accessory to work.
The Blake Lively ring was reportedly designed by the jeweler Lorraine Schwartz. A spokesperson for the jeweler revealed "They worked together to design a custom setting in rose gold and pave diamonds with a nod to deco." Blake Lively married Reynolds on September 9, at the Boone Hall plantation in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
Following their secret wedding, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds have returned to work, with the former being snapped getting back onto the set of Gossip Girl, according to E! Online. Any hopes that there might be a picture of what sparkler Lively had been presented by Reynolds were sadly dashed, with photographers not managing to get close enough to the actress; however she did look happy, arriving to work in New York with a beaming smile across her face.
The surprise wedding occurred on September 9, 2012 when, wearing a custom Marchesa gown by Georgina Chapman, Lively said "I do" to Reynolds, who looked equally dapper in a Burberry tuxedo. It wouldn't appear that the couple had a honeymoon of any great extravagance, with reports stating that they hung about in in Charleston for a few days instead.
For actor Reynolds, he'll be hoping that he'll be lucky in love this time round after previous engagements haven't quite ended up turning out so well. He was engaged to singer Alanis Morissette in 2004, only for the two of them to mutually split three years later. After that he began dating Scarlett Johansson, with the pair even managing to get married in the Autumn of 2008. That ended in divorce in 2010 however, with Lively being his first relationship following that in 2011.

All of these stories take place in Manhattan, with only one or two brief forays into other boroughs, and they all centre around relatively well-off people, mainly white or Asian. They're also quite serious and emotional, with only brief moments of humour dotted here and there, although some make us smile more than others. Each is about a male-female relationship--marriages, brief encounters, possibilities, life-long companionship. Most have a somewhat gimmicky twist, and a few are intriguingly oblique.

Their latest heist is at a bank where they end up taking the bank manager called Claire hostage. Eventually the robbers let the woman go but she's left unnerved by her experience. In the days following her experience, she meets a man called Doug, he seems unassuming and friendly and she's taken in by his seemingly charming personality. Their relationship begins to grow but Claire is unaware of Doug's dark side, he was one of the men who took Claire hostage.

Pippa (Wright) is married to the much-older Herb (Arkin), a publisher who hates that he's now retired. But it's Pippa whose world is starting to unravel, as she reaches the point where she needs more than being a trophy wife and mother to two now-grown kids (Kazan and McDonald). Her sleepwalking antics indicate that her subconscious has already figured this out, but it'll take a look at her childhood (played by Lively and youngster Madeline McNulty) to help her see what she needs to do next.

That doesn't mean, by any stretch, that this Sisterhood sequel offers a balanced moviegoing experience capable of entertaining the random ticket buyers who stumble in because The Dark Knight is sold out and don't know the difference between faded Levi's and the traveling pants of the title. Knowledge gleaned from the 2005 film is imperative, while familiarity with the four books in author Ann Brashares' Sisterhood series will only help.

Bartleby (Justin Long) is a clever high school student, but not specifically good at working. He can trick people and has an unnatural ability with words, but he can't get into a college to save his life. Several of his fellow friends and classmates are finding the same problem. After a failed plan to trick his parents, Bartleby decides that the only way to quell his parents' worries is to get an acceptance letter from a fake college. So, on a whim, he and a pack of ravenously creative friends set up a website, buy a space, remodel it, and make it look about as college-like as possible. It works for Bartleby's parents, but soon, hundreds of students are at the gates of the school, ready to learn.

Based on Ann Brashares' novel, Pants focuses on four 16-year-olds, all lifelong friends. Bridget (Blake Lively) is the go-getter of the bunch and a soccer star in the making; Tibby (Amber Tamblyn) is a sarcastic, wannabe filmmaker who favors black on her clothes and blue in her hair; Lena (Alexis Bledel) is the prudent one of the bunch; and Carmen (the outstanding America Ferrera), the narrator, is an aspiring writer and the only one whose body actually has curves.

Found to inexplicably fit each of them despite very differentbody types, the pants become a touchstone as they're sent from friend tofriend, giving each girl confidence, good luck or comfort from unexpectedhardship just when such encouragement is most needed.
Adapted from the first in a series of popular books byAnn Brashares, the movie has a foundation of coming-of-age cliches, butbuilds upon it beautifully with three-dimensional characters and honestangst, consternation and joy.
Alexis Bledel ("Gilmore Girls") plays shy, beautiful, lanky Lena, whose vacation in a stereotypical Greek fishing village comescomplete with a hunky local (Michael Rady) who rides a Vespa. This is "Sisterhood's"least creative storyline (it even has a "Romeo and Juliet" bent),but Bledel digs for emotional truth and finds it.
