Black Sabbath are set to return to their hometown for an intimate charity show ahead of the band's big comeback this summer (12).
Ozzy Osbourne's group will play a gig in Birmingham, England on 19 May (12), marking their first concert in the city for 13 years, and a portion of the proceeds will go to the Help for Heroes organisation in support of British troops.
The concert will take place at Birmingham's O2 Academy venue and the reunited band will go on to perform two big gigs at Britain's Download Festival in June (12) and at Lollapalooza in Chicago, Illinois in August (12).
The band was forced to cancel a number of shows this year (12) after guitarist Tony Iommi was diagnosed with cancer and many of their dates were changed to feature 'Ozzy & Friends' instead of Black Sabbath.
