The reunited Black Sabbath are set to scare up a storm at one of Los Angeles' leading themeparks this Halloween (31Oct13) after joining forces with maze designers at Universal Studios Hollywood.

Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler's music will feature as part of a terrifying 3D attraction that will be inspired by the group's songs and their new comeback album, 13.

Black Sabbath: 13 3D will open to the public on 30 September (13) and run until the end of October as part of Universal's Halloween Horror Nights.

Frontman Osbourne says, "I've seen the drawings of what it will look like when it's finished and it looks amazing. I can't wait to walk through it on opening night in September."

Universal Studios Hollywood Creative Director John Murdy admits it was a joy for himself and his team to create the new maze because so many of Black Sabbath's songs conjure up the terrifying and the macabre.

He adds, "Tony Iommi's dark, iconic riffs, Ozzy Osbourne's haunting vocals and Geezer Butler's foreboding lyrics provide the perfect soundtrack for Halloween Horror Nights and endless inspiration for our new haunted attraction, Black Sabbath 13 3D."

The maze will feature Lucifer and his bride, blood-soaked dead bodies and "bubbling pools of radioactive water" while song's like Luke's Wall, Iron Man, Paranoid, War Pigs, Electric Funeral and Black Sabbath will "penetrate the confines of the maze at high volume".
