Icelandic singer Bjork's infamous swan dress is among 150 celebrity fashion items to be sold on internet auction site eBay to raise money for charity next month (SEP05).

The acclaimed performer was mocked for wearing the eccentric fashion piece, which features an imitation swan's neck draped around the neckline, when she stepped out on the red carpet at the 2001 Oscars ceremony.

The white dress will join a pair of sunglasses belonging to John Lennon's wife Yoko Ono's, a pair of fake leather boots from fashion designer Stella Mccartney and a motorcycle helmet used by Blur frontman Damon Albarn in the Oxfam auction.

Oxfam spokesperson ROSE MARSH says, "We wanted people to give things that were personal and had a story behind them, because bidders will then know they are getting something particularly special to the person concerned and all in aid of a good cause.

"We don't know yet how much these items could raise but if people get involved in a bidding war over Bjork's dress then it could be quite a substantial amount."

Bidding for the items runs online from 18 to 25 September (05) and will coincide with London's Fashion Week.
