Eccentric pop star Bjork is planning a 2013 residency in a circus tent in Paris, France.
The singer will perform four shows in February and March at Le Cirque En Chantier on L'Ile Seguin, an island on the River Seine, according to NME.com.
Bjork will then become the first artist ever to perform in the indoor arena Le Zenith, where she'll play two concerts.
News of the six French shows come just days after the Icelandic superstar revealed she had won her battle with vocal problems, which forced her to cancel a number of live dates in Argentina, Spain, Portugal and Brazil earlier this year.
In a post on her website last week (21Nov12), she wrote, "(a) few years ago doctors found a vocal polyp on me chords (sic)... i decided to go the natural way and for 4 years did (vocal) stretches and tackled it with different foods and what not. then they discovered better technology and i got tempted into hi tech lazer (sic) stuff and i have to say, in my case anyway: surgery rocks!
"i stayed quiet for 3 weeks and then started singing and definitely feel like my chords are as good as pre nodule! it's been very satisfying to sing all them (sic) clear notes again. im sorry i had to cancel stuff earlier in the year, didn't want to talk about this until i knew for sure if it would work (sic). so looking forward to singing for you in 2013."
