As the release of his 11th studio album 'Tha Carter V' is still unknown, Weezy is reportedly filing an $8 million lawsuit against the co-founder of the record label.
Early last month Lil Wayne publically criticised his current label Cash Money Records over the delay of his highly-anticipated new album 'Tha Carter V,' and as the release date is still unknown, Weezy is now looking to sue Cash Money co-founder Birdman for $8 million.
Wayne is reportedly looking to sue Birdman for millions
The 32-year-old rapper and his former mentor reportedly held talks earlier this week, but as negotiations between the pair proved fruitless, Wayne is now claiming Birdman violated their contract by withholding the release of his new album, TMZ reports.
