Billy Bob Thornton - Bad Santa 2 Video Interview

Billy Bob Thornton speaks about Bad Santa 2

On its release in 2003, Bad Santa become an antithesis to most of the overly good-hearted Christmas films, its lead character Willie T. Stokes is an alcoholic who finds himself working in a mall as a Santa Claus but unlike the majority of other Santas, Willie far from embraces the expected spirit of Christmas; the only reason he takes the jovial job is to act as cover for him and his accomplice, Marcus, to rob the mall at night. Willie's life is changed when he meets a little boy called Thurman; he's often bullied and even Willie can't stand to see the child be picked on. Even a low-down thief like Willie might just have a softer side.

The first movie became a much-loved hit and now there's a sequel. Billy Bob Thornton (Willie), Tony Cox (Marcus) and Brett Kelly (Thurman) are reunited in the new movie which picks up years after the first.

Thurman is now all grownup but still dependent on Willie for worldly advice, Marcus has been released from jail and Willie still hasn't been able to cut it as a legit law abiding citizen. Joining them on this new adventure is Willie's mother Sunny who's played by Kathy Bates.

Sandra Bullock leads the cast for true story drama 'Our Brand Is Crisis', and while she's well known for some impressive acting stints throughout her career, she's crediting director David Gordon Green for her work in this movie; a filmmaker who came on board after a long struggle to find the perfect director.

Bullock stars as a political campaign expert named Jane with a questionable past, who nearly loses sight of her own morals in a bid to beat her rival Pat Candy (Billy Bob Thornton) in the presidential victory race and clear her less then clean record. It's not just a straightforward drama though; as can be expected from Bullock, there's plenty of humour there and a whole lot of heart, creating something that she describes as 'emotionally complex' and thus a daunting task for any director.

Jane 'Calamity' Bodine makes the brave move to come out of retirement as a top political consultant, despite having been responsible for one of the most catastrophic campaigns in history. It's time to put the past behind her and learn from her mistakes, by tackling her latest cause; a presidential candidate in Bolivia is desperate to win the 2002 election, but currently remains unpopular with the people of the country who are suffering in the delicate political and economic state. It's Bodine's job, along with the rest of an American strategist team, to help boost his numbers, but unfortunately for her the opposition has selected an all too familiar team to help them led by Bodine's long-time rival Pat Candy. Determined to finally beat him in the political stakes, she has her team spy on the other candidate's campaign and exploits the struggles of the people to give her client an emotional advantage. However, Bodine's soon made to realise that her attitude towards the job is seriously affecting her compassion for the people who are genuinely suffering, and she can't stay detached for long.

Drunk Stoned Brilliant Dead: The Story Of National Lampoon Trailer

In the 1970s came the most controversial and accessible comedy ever seen. The National Lampoon was a magazine featuring some of the most socially terrifying taboos and became a groundbreaking publication in the world of American humour. Unafraid were the editors to approach subjects regarding politics, war, sex, drugs and culture, and nothing was allowed to stay censored; it was, indeed, best known for the highly outrageous cover art that ranged from parodic images of Van Gogh and Hitler to a gun threat against a dog. From pages full of laughs came a multimedia comedic world with radio shows, music and television all spawning from that one paper. The most memorable incarnations of the Lampoon were the 'Animal House', 'Class Reunion' and 'Vacation' movies which took the whole franchise to a new level of fame.

Entourage Review

Very Good

Both shameless and shamelessly entertaining, this relentlessly boyish movie carries on exactly as the TV show left off after its eight-season run. In fact, it actually feels like a ninth season was condensed into 104 minutes, as it carries on with the same misogynistic approach, leering at women while laughing at the inappropriate behaviour of men. But these guys still have their charm, and when they get together the screen lights up with snappy banter and a hilariously knowing depiction of how crazy life is within the movie industry.

It's been four years since we last saw them, and Vince (Adrien Grenier) is just out of a disastrous marriage, yearning to direct his next movie, a raving sci-fi take on Jeckyll and Hyde. As luck would have it, his loyal ex-agent Ari (Jeremy Piven) is now a studio boss, so he lets him make the movie with his best pal Eric (Kevin Connolly) as producer, his older brother Johnny (Kevin Dillon) in a key supporting role and his pal Turtle (Jerry Ferrara) as their driver. But the Texan moneybags (Billy Bob Thornton) is dubious about all of this, and sends his know-it-all son Travis (Haley Joel Osment) to keep an eye on post-production. And Travis has some ideas of his own, much to everyone's horror.

While the rather bland Grenier holds the centre as Vince, the rest of the characters are given subplots to run with. Ari is in marriage counselling because he can't tear himself from his work; Eric goes through a few more women while preparing for his ex-girlfriend to give birth to their child; Johnny hopes this small role might finally kickstart his career; Turtle pursues a relationship with MMA champion-turned actress Ronda Rousey; and Travis is jealous of how much time Vince is spending with model-turned-actress Emily Ratajkowski. None of these plots have anywhere to go, but they pass the time amiably.

A Lot Has Changed Since The Golden Days Of "Entourage"

Adrian Grenier Jeremy Piven Kevin Connolly Billy Bob Thornton Doug Ellin

In the light of news  that an Entourage movie is finally out, the internet is now wondering – is there any more story left to tell? Of course there are, according to creator Doug Ellin. The big screen version of the critical-darling-turned-nostalgia-watch show came out Friday and the critics are about to have their say.

Adrian Grenier
Adrian Grenier plays the lead character - the talented, but flighty actor Vincent Chase.

Entourage was one of HBO’s highest-rated half-hour shows, and some seasons the highest, during its run, but viewership still just topped out at an average of 8.3 million (including on-demand and digital viewing) during Season 6. And its dismal performance in syndication, both on Tribune stations and later on Spike, raises a caution flag.

The world of acting is no longer enough for superstar Vincent Chase, whose now looking at a career in directing. With his lifestyle having taken a significant overhaul following several years of hedonism (though it might not seem like it), Ari Gold is still acting as his agent despite his new job as CEO of Time Warner and is willing to give his client a shot at what he wants to do - even if no-one else seems to think he can pull off directing. He lands a $100 million budget but things get complicated when he goes over by $15 million. Vince isn't overly concerned with the film becoming a flop, but it could mean the end of Ari's career before its started if it doesn't come through.

Cut Bank Trailer

Dwayne McLaren is an ambitious high school graduate, whose success on the football field led him to hope for a bright future. However, his dreams are far from reached and he now works as a car mechanic in the sleepy town of Cut Bank, Montana. Nothing of interest ever seems to happen there, but his life is set to change forever when he unwittingly films an apparently fatal shooting in the middle of a field, where an elderly mailman is seemingly murdered. Meanwhile, a man of deceptively timid disposition named Derby Milton is expecting a package, and he'll do just about anything to get it. While Dwayne decides to search for the murderer (and the mainman's body) himself in a bid to win the $100,000 reward and start afresh in another town, it becomes clear that this case is a lot more complicated (and dangerous) than it initially appeared.
