Bill Murray was so determined to convincingly play short-tempered oceanographer STEVE ZISSOU, he adopted the character's angry temperament on the set of his new movie.
Wes Anderson, the director of THE LIFE OF AQUATIC WITH STEVE ZISSOU, complains that the 54-year-old actor wore himself out by unleashing his wrath on the film's cast and crew.
Anderson says, "Bill was not as relaxed as he has been in other movies we've done together because his character is so filled with tension.
"There was a lot of anger in his character. Bill got a little bit method-like... I think it was exhausting for him.
"I think that energy is emanating from him in the movie."10/02/2005 14:15
