'Green Lantern' star Ryan Reynolds showed up at the 'Turbo' premiere in the AMC Loews Lincoln Square in New York. He plays the title character in the hilarious animated flick; a snail who wishes to defy his nature and become faster than the speediest IndyCar racer in the world.
R.J. (Bruce Willis) is a smooth-talking raccoon who lands in hot water when he tries to steal food from a hibernating bear (Nick Nolte). To spare his life, R.J. now has one week to recover a red wagon full of junk food or meet a grizzly fate. Lo and behold, the quick-thinking con artist crashes into a family of foraging beasts as they arise from their winter slumber. Led by neurotic turtle Verne (voiced by neurotic Garry Shandling), the animals invade the pop-up planned community that surfaced while they slept and begin to rummage for sweet treats.

The story begins when Oscar (Will Smith), a working-class fish with fame and fortune on the brain, runs afoul of his boss, Sykes (Martin Scorsese), a puffer fish with the largest eyebrows known to aquaria. Deep in debt, Oscar is taken out to pasture by Sykes' Jamaican jellyfish goons (a hilarious Ziggy Marley & Doug E. Doug). Enter Lenny (Jack Black), a shy shark out on a mission to be toughened up by his brother Frankie (Michael Imperioli) on behalf of his shark mob boss dad, Don Lino (Robert De Niro). One thing leads to another, and suddenly it appears as if Oscar has slain Frankie.
