One Direction excited their fans earlier this week when an unauthorised leak of their new single ‘Live While We’re Young’ found its way online. The track is now being given an official release date, to satisfy the fans desperate for new One Direction songs and will be the lead track from One Direction’s upcoming sophomore album, Take Me Home.
If that wasn’t enough for 1D fans, they will also be treated to an all-new comic book series staring the boys, chronicling their time from as contestants on the UK version of the x factor to their show on board a moving float during the closing ceremony of the London Olympics. The ‘Fame: One Direction’ comic follows on the series that has also featured Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez and Big Time Rush.
The new comic is available digitally for the Nook, the Kindle and the iPad now and is also available to buy in physical form from Comic Flea Market. Take Me Home is scheduled for release in the United States on November 13, 2012; nine months after their hit debut, Up All Night. The video for ‘Live While We’re Young’ is online now, having been put on their YouTube page yesterday (September 20, 2012). Columbia Records were forced to make the video available in a rush, following the track leak.
