Big Sean, the rapper signed by Kanye West and whose single My Last with Chris Brown was a recent hit, has been arrested and faces charges of sexual abuse after a women alleged that she was the subject of an assault after his concert in upstate New York on Thursday night. The LA Times reported that the rapper was playing a concert with Wiz Khalifa at Artpark State Park in Lewiston, near the Niagara River, and the police have charged Big Sean, real name Sean Michael Anderson, with misdemeanor counts of forcible touching, unlawful imprisonment and sex abuse. Another man, Willie "Sayitainttone" Hansbro, was also arrested and charged with the same counts. Both men were released on $500 bail and are set to appear in Niagara County Court in Lewiston on 6th September.

Big Sean's lawyer Scott E. Leemon issued a statement on Friday (5th August) stating that both men "vehemently deny the allegations." He continued: "I am confident, that after further investigation, both men will be vindicated." Reuters reported that the police would not go into detail about what was alleged to have happened on the night. Big Sean will be hoping that his single My Last was not a prediction about Thursday's ill-fated concert.
