Biffy Clyro & Sailor Jerry's spiced rum have teamed up for a special competition. They are giving fans the chance to design a guitar vinyl that will decorate lead guitarist Simon Neil's Fender guitar onstage.
Sailor Jerry and Biffy Clyro have launched a nation-wide search for the best design for the guitar vinyl, so get creative as the design will exclusively adorn the guitar for the band's future show at The Full Ponty festival.
Fans and general public alike will be able to experiment with designs on a postcard whilst in the pub as they sip their Sailor Jerry. Postcards are being handed out in bars across the UK with a space for customers to get those creative juices flowing and get their design down on paper. It's a fantastic opportunity for fans to interact with the band and have input into their image.
Consisting of Simon Neil, and twins Ben and James Johnston, the three-piece has built up one of the country's most loyal fanbases through a gruelling, seemingly non-stop tour schedule that has taken them from the tiniest, most gig-starved outposts of the British Isles to huge dates with artists as diverse as Bloc Party and Velvet Revolver. In 2006 the band will be playing the V Festival and The Full Ponty Festival in Wales on May 28th. The band is currently regrouping to record their fourth album.
The winner will get 2 tickets to the Full Ponty festival in Wales on 28th May, including accommodation and travel, where they will see their design on Simon's Fender guitar and meet the band
