The hitmaking trio have been on tour together in their native North America since 12 March (04) and now hopes to raise HIV awareness by joining forces with the BLACK AIDS INSTITUTE and teaching the dangers of the disease.
To qualify for free tickets, fans have to answer personal questions in an interview and listen to the facts about how they can stop the spread of HIV.
PHIL WILSON of the Black AIDS Institute, says, "We thought that it was a remarkable opportunity for these women who are megastars individually to kind of use their power and to use their voice."
Organisers plan to give away tickets to more than 100 different concerts over the next year. In the process, they expect to test 25,000 young people for AIDS.25/03/2004 01:59
