Beyonce Knowles has scrapped plans to record a second solo album, so she can reunite with her Destiny's Child bandmates.

The sexy singer has enjoyed phenomenal success since the R+B trio took a sabbatical in 2001 - her debut solo LP DANGEROUSLY IN LOVE topped album charts around the globe and has earned her six nominations at next month's (8FEB04) Grammy awards.

The 22-year-old had hoped to rush through a second release before reteaming with Destiny's Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams in March (03) - so she could share some of the tracks that didn't make Dangerously In Love with fans.

But she has opted to concentrate fully on the three-piece, who have booked studio time for the duration of March (04) and hope to have a new album out this summer (04).
