Veteran actress Betty White headed to Washington, D.C. on Monday (11Jun12) for a special meeting with U.S. President Barack Obama.
The legendary Golden Girls star was invited to the White House to greet the political leader after voicing her support for the Democrat's re-election last month (May12).
Animal lover White was also given the opportunity to spend time with Obama's family dog, Bo, and was pictured walking on the South Lawn with the black and white pooch.
It wasn't the first time White and Obama had interacted - earlier this year (12), the President filmed a brief birthday message for the TV icon in celebration of her 90th birthday.
