Best In Show star Parker Posey jumped at the chance star in the blockbuster film SUPERMAN RETURNS, but was stunned when producers told her she couldn't see the script. Posey was thrilled to play KITTY KOWALSKI and branch out into big budget movies, because she normally gets offered quirky roles in smaller films. She explains, "I was doing a play at the time and I heard there was interest in me playing this part in Superman. "So I was like, 'Let them talk it out and see how serious they are and see if it comes around,' and it did! "I was like, 'I'd love to read the script,' and they were like, 'We can't let you read the script!' "I'm not going to say no! I accepted the part and they flew someone in from Australia (where the film was being shot) with the script. "They stopped off in London to deliver the script to Kevin Spacey (LEX LUTHOR) and then they delivered the script to New York to me. "It was like a Tom Cruise movie or something! They waited outside a coffee shop while I read the script. "There was a lot of drama around it, but it's an amazing movie!"
