Berenice Marlohe missed the DVD launch of 'Skyfall' after her plane was flooded with toxic fumes.
The 33-year-old actress was flying from Los Angeles to London Heathrow airport when oil fumes were suspected to have leaked into the cabin, causing the pilot to make an emergency landing in Las Vegas.
Crew and passengers on board the Boeing 747 flight, which also included 'American Idol' host Ryan Seacrest and his girlfriend Juliane Hough, were also advised to use their oxygen masks after several people complained they felt unwell.
The incident caused Berenice to miss a specially branded 'Skyfall' train at London's King Cross station on Saturday (16.02.13), where she was due to meet her James Bond co-star Naomie Harris for a journey to Edinburgh, Scotland, to celebrate the film's release on DVD.
A 'Skyfall' spokesperson said: ''It was a real shame Berenice was unable to attend our launch, where she was due to unveil the 'Skyfall' train with fellow bond actress Naomie Harris.
''Sadly Berenice's plane from Los Angeles was grounded in Las Vegas due to fumes in the cabin.''
British Airways, the airline the brunette beauty was flying with, confirmed the emergency landing was made as a precaution, with a spokesperson explaining: ''Safety is always our top priority and as a precaution the captain diverted our Los Angeles to London service into Las Vegas after a suspected technical problem.''
Naomie, however, was still able to unveil the unique train and described the experience as ''amazing''.
She said: ''This train is absolutely amazing and I'm so pleased to be part of the unveiling today. It says a lot about the success of 'Skyfall' that it has become the first ever train to be named after a film in the UK.''
