Actress Berenice Bejo gave fans a preview of what to expect if she wins an Oscar later this month (Feb12) after preparing her acceptance speech on Piers Morgan's talk show.
The Argentine-French star's turn in her husband Michel Hazanavicius' silent movie The Artist has already landed her the Hollywood Film Festival Spotlight Award and a Phoenix Film Critics Society honour, and Bejo is tipped in the Actress in a Supporting Role category at the upcoming Academy Awards.
She was a guest on Morgan's CNN show on Monday night (06Feb12), and the British presenter asked the actress what she would say if she landed the coveted prize.
Bejo declared, "I know if I could be on stage, I know I would love to thank Michel, my parents, and of course all the cast and my agent and those people that are very close to me with this project. I would love to be able (to say that)."
Bejo faces tough competition for the award - she is up against Jessica Chastain, Melissa MCCarthy, Janet MCTeer, Octavia Spencer at the ceremony on 26 February (12) at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles.
