Fox has renewed 'Empire', 'Gotham' and 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' for further seasons.
Fox has ordered a second season of Empire after airing just two episodes. Comedy Brooklyn Nine-Nine and superhero drama Gotham have also been renewed. Fox announced the renewals on Saturday (17th January) at the Television Critics Association press tour in California.

The stars of superhero spin-off TV series 'Gotham' arrived at the show's premiere held at the New York Public Library. Among them were Jada Pinkett Smith, who plays Fish Mooney in the series.
In the first deal of its kind, Netflix has secured the rights to 'Gotham' - a show yet to air its first season on Fox.
Streaming service Netflix has pulled off a major coup by landing the rights to 'Gotham' - the Batman prequel series yet to air its first season on Fox. In a deal between Netflix and Warner Bros. Worldwide Television Distribution, the streaming service will get exclusive on demand rights for the highly anticipated series, from fall 2015.

Prequel series is set to air in September and will provide backstories for villains as well as heroes
Channel 5 has acquired the right to broadcast the forthcoming drama series ‘Gotham’ in the UK.Billed as a prequel to story of Batman, the series will begin screening in the US on September 22nd, although no definite date has been confirmed for transmission in the UK as yet.

A new trailer has been released to tease the nearing premiere of Fox's Batman spin-off television series, Gotham. The brief, 30 second clip rapidly introduces the show's villains Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor), Catwoman (Camren Bicondova), and Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett-Smith).

Another iconic DC character has been confirmed to appear on Fox’s upcoming Gotham. Several Batman villains were announced and cast several months ago like Catwoman (Camren Bicondova) and the Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor). The trailer also gave fans a glimpse at another classic villain – Edward Nigma, aka The Riddler, played by Cory Michael Smith.

Fox has penciled in Batman origins story 'Gotham' for Mondays.
Fox has announced its fall 2014 schedule, with the DC Comics prequel series Gotham starring Ben McKenzie pencilled in for Mondays at 8pm. The show leads into the hugely successful Sleepy Hollow, which hasn't aired a new episode since January.

The ambitious drama Utopia - based on the hit Dutch show - will air on Tuesdays at 8pm, leading into low rated comedies New Girl and The Mindy Project. On Wednesdays - we've got a new season of Hell's Kitchen for 8pm, leading into the Red Band Soceity, a show executive produced by Steven Spielberg and fronted by Oscar winner Octavia Spencer.

The 'Gotham' trailer is out bringing us a young Gordon and an even younger Bruce Wayne plus a future villain or four.
The first ‘Gotham’ trailer has the internet buzzing as we got our debut glimpse at how the Batman-les, Batman series might look. The head honchos at Fox have been suitably impressed and have already green lit this one for a series of at least 13 episodes. Showing us a pre-Batman Gotham City, the series places Commissioner Gordon as its central character while also telling us the origin stories of a few of our favourite villains.
