Movie star Benicio Del Toro met with Bolivian President EVO MORALES on Monday (03Dec07) to discuss upcoming films about revolutionary Che Guevara. The Oscar winner paid a visit to the presidential palace, where the two men discussed filmmaking and Guevara, who was executed by the Bolivian army, for "about 20 minutes". Del Toro's upcoming films, Guerrilla and The Argentine, both deal with the Argentine freedom fighter, full name Ernesto Guevara. Del Toro wore native Bolivian attire as a mark of respect for the President, who presented the actor with a collection of books and a Bolivian instrument, known as a charango.
