He blames it on being from Boston.
Ben Affleck's expletive laden speech about 'deflategrate' on 'Any Given Wednesday with Bill Simmons' did not go unnoticed to the public, who accused him of being drunk due to his slurring and very red face. The 'Batman v Superman' star isn't so red-faced now, however, in fact he's pretty chill about the whole thing.
Ben Affleck sees the funny side of 'deflategate' rant
The actor took to Twitter yesterday to respond to the baffled reactions of everyone who watched the interview, where he ranted loudly and angrily about the scandal that hit the NFL last year which saw the New England Patriots accused of deflating the footballs used in a game against Indianapolis Colts. Thankfully, Affeck has seen the funny side of his major tirade.
'For those of you keeping score at home, I gave exactly 18 f*cks about my Pats. Upon reflection, 12 probably would have been sufficient', he wrote to his followers on Twitter. 'We Boston fans have always been known for our subtlety. One of my favorite interviews; hope you get to see the entire episode. #GoPats'

For those who missed it, his F-bomb sermon mainly circled around Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, who was suspended for a quarter of the 2015 regular season. 'Deflategate is the ultimate bulls**t f***ing outrage of sports ever. It's so f***ing stupid', Affleck said, beginning his diatribe. 'What they did was suspend Tom Brady for 4 days for not given [the NFL] his f***ing cell phone... I would never give an organisation as leak-prone as the NFL my f***ing cell phone.'

Bill Simmons later took to Twitter to excuse Affleck's mood, revealing that he'd simply got 'fired up' during a conversation about the NFL; a subject which he's obviously passionate about. 'We taped AGW in the late-AM, Ben got fired up about DeflateGate during the convo, that's it', said Simmons.
