THE Beatles have beaten U2, THE Rolling Stones and Pink Floyd in a poll of Britain's all-time richest rockers.

The LET IT BE stars have topped Q magazine's survey with a combined wealth of $2.7 billion (GBP1.5 billion) - Sir Paul McCartney alone is worth more than $1 billion (GBP760 million).

The Rolling Stones came second with a staggering $945 million (GBP515 million) followed by U2 with $770 million (GBP420 million) and Pink Floyd who have accumulated $430 million (GBP235 million).
