Blood and Peanut Butter

"Blood and Peanut Butter" has been cited by many BC Camplight fans as their favourite song from his debut album, "Hide Run Away" which came out on One Little Indian in October 2005. It's no surprise therefore that it's destined to be his first single release out 6th March 2006. BC Camplight's sound fuses a colourful range of influences from Gershwin and Gilbert & Sullivan through to Brian Wilson, Burt Bacharach and ELO. The single will feature two tracks: "Blood and Peanut Butter" and "Parapaleejo".
"Blood and Peanut Butter" will be supported by a UK tour. Throughout February BC will be supporting The Boy Least Likely To before launching into his own tour in March. He will be showcasing at the BBC Radio and Music Festival on March 7th on the BBC Radio 2 and BBC 6 Music stage having been championed so far by Dermot o Leary and Tom Robinson.
