The veteran musician, who struggles with diabetes, was hospitalised in Sin City last week (30Apr15) after King's daughter, Patty, reportedly filed a police complaint accusing his manager Laverne Toney of refusing to seek medical help after her father's health took a turn for the worse.

Medics determined King may have suffered a minor heart attack, and he was briefly hospitalised. He is currently under hospice care at his Vegas home.

Another of King's daughters, Karen Williams, filed a petition seeking guardianship of her father's estate earlier this week (begs04May15), amid accusations Toney has been keeping friends and family away from her ailing dad.

The battle over the guitar great's estate headed to court on Thursday (07May15), when Clark County Family Court Hearing Master Jon Norheim ruled he had no reason to believe the abuse accusations after two separate teams of investigators found no evidence to suggest King had been victimised.

Norheim also declined to consider the guardianship bid as Williams had not given legal notice of her intentions to all family members.

Toney recently dismissed the allegations of mistreatment, and had the legend's doctor of 10 years, Dr. Darin Brimhall, issue a statement expressing his approval of the medical help the musician has been receiving.

She presented his letter of support to the court on Thursday, along with evidence from a handful of other health professionals.
