The actor pulled out of an appearance at the Comic-Con convention in San Diego, California in July (15) due to what he described as "complications from unexpected knee surgery".

Hasselhoff is now on the mend, but is still finding walking difficult despite weeks of physical therapy.

He tells Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper, "It needs to be addressed and it's kept me from walking. I've had a lot of therapy. I've been on crutches but it hasn't stopped me from doing things, although I've been limping... I had knee reconstruction therapy after I had surgery on it."

Hasselhoff's knee trouble is the latest health setback for the star in a debilitating year during which he has undergone eye surgery and suffered a broken vertebra after an accident involving a dune buggy.
