* LOHAN GETS BREAK FROM JAIL, ORDERED TO REHAB LINDSAY LOHAN has escaped further jail time and has been ordered to return to rehab to continue her drug treatment until the New Year (11). The Mean Girls star has spent the summer (10) in and out of jail and rehab as she battles her drug demons. She was hauled back in front of a judge late last month (Sep10) over allegations she failed two court-ordered drug tests and was told to spend a month in prison, but walked free after posting $300,000 (£200,000) bail. She subsequently checked herself into the Betty Ford clinic in Rancho Mirage, California and only left the centre in the early hours of Friday (22Oct10) in preparation for her court hearing. Lohan appeared before Judge Elden Fox at the Beverly Hills Courthouse in Los Angeles on Friday (22Oct10) when she faced a three-month jail term - but the usually tough-talking official decided to keep the troubled star in a drug programme to help kick her addictions once and for all. He told Lohan, You are an addict. I hope you understand that. The actress nodded in response and thanked Judge Fox for his lenient sentence, reports TMZ.com. Lohan has been ordered to stay in rehab until at least 3 January (11) - meaning she will be spending the upcoming Christmas holidays in treatment. She will undergo random drug testing upon her release until her next court date on 25 February (11). Lohan's mother Dina and estranged father Michael were both present for the sentencing.
