Basement Jaxx are on a roll. Having broken their almost two year silence earlier this year with tropical barnstormer 'Back 2 The Wild', they've since announced a return to the UK live circuit this winter - including a double-header at O2 Academy Brixton in December - and are currently in the process of bringing the dance to festival crowds across Europe.
Now they are pleased to reveal their latest new material, the ecstatically buoyant 'What A Difference Your Love Makes'. A further glimpse of the forthcoming album that they're currently busy crafting, 'What A Difference Your Love Makes' is, in Felix Buxton's own words, "summer feel-good music for the club, the car, and the bar (b-q)", and features the stirring vocals of previously unknown folk / soul artist Sam Brookes. Penned by the Jaxx with a hand from Chicago house legend DJ Sneak on a drizzly evening 6 months ago, the track is the complete antithesis of the weather conditions that day, although it has proved to go down a storm in recent live shows.
'What A Difference Your Love Makes' is released on September 30th, on 37 Adventures.
