Nine Lives Trailer

Tom Brand has always been a workaholic and his company is in the fanal stages of one of their biggest projects to date. As with a lot of people who have high flying careers, Tom's family have taken somewhat of a backseat in his life. Particularly his wife Lara and 10 year old daughter Rebecca.

Living in a luxury city apartment, Tom isn't often found with his family but as it's Rebecca's birthday, he knows that he can't miss it. With no gift to give his daughter and knowing that he's spent such little time with her recently, Tom decides to stop off and get her a gift that's sure to make her happy - something she's asked for for years. A cat.

The store where Tom picks up the cat (called Mr. Fuzzypants) is run by an eccentric man called Felix Perkins and as soon as Mr Perkins and the newest member of the Brand family become part of Tom's life, odd things start to happen. Soon Tom's life is turned upside down and he's experiencing family life in a way that he - nor anyone else - has ever experienced before.

Cheryl Hines Made Barry Sonnenfeld Cry With Her Bad Vocals

Cheryl Hines Barry Sonnenfeld

The former Curb Your Enthusiasm star is well aware of her limited musical skills and Barry learned the hard way after encouraging her to belt out Ronny & the Dayonas' Little GTO hit for the family road trip movie.

"I said, 'I'm not a good singer, but I'll do my best and then you can tell me what you want me to do...' I closed my eyes and Barry was sitting next to me and I sang it, top of my lungs. I look over and he's crying, tears, crying!"

The funny scene still made the film's final cut, but that hasn't deterred other filmmakers from calling on Cheryl to put her vocals to the test.

Will Smith Wrestled With Director Barry Sonnenfeld On Men In Black 3 Set

Will Smith Barry Sonnenfeld

Will Smith kept his Men In Black 3 director Barry Sonnenfeld on his toes while filming the new movie as he would frequently grab the filmmaker and wrestle him to the ground.

The pair has maintained a close friendship since shooting the first installment of the alien action comedy in 1997 and Smith often let loose on the set of the new sequel by messing around with Sonnenfeld whenever the cameras stopped rolling.

And Men In Black 3 co-star Michael Stuhlbarg admits their playful nature kept the cast and crew entertained.

He tells the New York Post's Page Six column, "Will was always grabbing him and wrestling around. They have a long friendship and it’s very funny and very eccentric, and you never know what is going to happen. Put them together, and it’s like a flash fire."

Barry Sonnenfeld ''can't wait'' to do 'Men In Black 4'.

The director of the film franchise has dropped his strongest hint yet that there will be a fourth movie in the series, which he believes has been ''refreshed'' after Josh Brolin joined Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones in 'Men In Black 3'.

Speaking at the UK premiere of 'Men in Black 3' in London's Leicester Square last night (16.05.12), he told BANG Showbiz: ''Josh not only didn't ruin the franchise but it's literally renewed now, its refreshed and I can't wait to see what happens in 'Men In Black 4'.

Will Smith Knocked Out Men In Black Director

Barry Sonnenfeld Will Smith

Director Barry Sonnenfeld was wary of working with Will Smith again on Men In Black Iii - the movie star mistakenly knocked him out on their previous movie.

When the pair was shooting scenes for 2002's Men In Black II, Smith wanted to show off his newfound fighting skills that he learned on boxing biopic Ali.

Despite wearing inflatable gloves as he sparred with the director, the punching prank went horribly wrong and left Sonnenfeld out cold.

Smith tells Total Film, "We had inflatable boxing gloves so we're playing with the inflatable boxing gloves and I'd just done Ali. The gloves are huge. So we're doing this and we're playing and we're playing and we're playing, and I punched him and the glove popped and..."

Lady Gaga Cast As Alien In 'Men In Black 3'

Lady GaGa Justin Bieber Steven Spielberg Michael Jackson George Lucas Isaac Mizrahi Martha Stewart Barry Sonnenfeld

You kind of suspected it of both of them, Lady GaGa is possibly too eccentric for anyone on earth to comprehend, whilst there's something almost unnatural about the squeaky clean appearance of 18 year-old pop sensation Justin Bieber, and now the news is out! The pair are aliens! Before all you conspiracy theorists start smugly donning your tin hats though, we should point out that Gaga and Bieber's supernatural origins have only been recognised in the fictional world of 'Men In Black Iii.'

Will Smith Originated Men In Black 3

Will Smith Barry Sonnenfeld Men In Black The Answer Tommy Lee Jones

Will Smith came up with the concept for 'Men In Black 3'.

The actor reprises his role as alien fighting Agent J in the third instalment of the popular movie franchise and director Barry Sonnenfeld revealed Will came up with the idea himself, which sees him travel back in time to rescue his partner (played by Tommy Lee Jones).

He said: ''Will calls me Baz. When we were shooting 'Men In Black II' [in 2002], one night he said 'Hey Baz, I think I have an idea for number three'. The basic idea was that Will's character, Agent J, would have to go back into the past to save his partner. It allowed the movie to take place in another era, and us to learn more about Tommy Lee Jones' character. But it turned out to be a very long process of development, mainly because of the knotting issues of time travel, the time travel thing was really hard.''

Enchanted Review

Good
In a fairly surprising move, Disney has come forward and shown it has an actual sense of humor about its patented brand of cheesy, clichéd, and relentless peppiness. Previously, self-reference has been limited to cross marketing between one Disney film and the next; but in Enchanted the message seems to be: Yeah, we know we've got our share of hokey archetypes, but it works for us. It's a refreshing attitude.

Giselle lives in the conflation of every single Disney trope ever, in an animated, magical fairy-tale kingdom full of songs of her one true love. The evil queen (who is also a wicked stepmother) can't have some upstart marry the prince and move in on her territory, so she banishes Giselle from animation to reality: New York, to be precise.
