Barbra Streisand's European tour has been dealt a blow after she was forced to cancel her upcoming performance in Paris, France.

The music legend is heading to Europe in the summer (13) for her first tour of the continent in six years, taking in cities such as London, Berlin in Germany and the Dutch capital of Amsterdam.

However, Streisand's French fans have been left disappointed after she axed her only planned show in the country.

She had previously intended to play at Paris' Bercy venue on 10 June (13), but she has now called off the date due to scheduling difficulties.

A statement posted on the venue's website reads, "Following a change of schedule, the Barbra Streisand concert originally scheduled for Monday, June 10 in Paris has been cancelled."

Fans with tickets for the show will be given refunds.

The rest of the tour will continue as planned, with the concerts kicking off in London on 1 June (13).
