Badly Drawn Boy releases his new single Silent Sigh through XL Recordings next Monday (March 25) and has made an acoustic version of the single available exclusively on the net. The single is taken from Damons original soundtrack to the film adaptation of Nick Hornbys best selling novel About A Boy. The acoustic version of Silent Sigh will be appearing as a b-side.
Silent Sigh is his first major release since the million selling Mercury Music Prize winning, Hour of The Bewilderbeast and boasts a two format cd release including the following:CD1
The album, released April 8, was recorded in Los Angeles with producer and Bong Load Records founder Tom Rothrock (Beck, Elliot Smith) Badly Drawn Boy became involved with the film at the request of Nick Hornby.
