Bachman Turner Overdrive founder Tim Bachman has been charged with sexual assault.
Canadian police have charged the guitarist with several sexual offences, including sexual assault, sexual interference and invitation to sexual touching, following an investigation into incidents that took place two decades ago, according to CBC News.
Bachman is currently free under the provision he must avoid contact with anyone under the age of 16.

Bachman Turner Overdrive founder TIM BACHMAN has been charged with sexually assaulting a minor.
The guitarist is accused of assaulting a girl between 2000 and 2004, when she was aged 11 to 14.
The girl, now 20, came forward last year (Mar09) and reported the assault to police in Abbotsville, British Columbia.
Bachman, 58, turned himself in voluntarily following an 11-month investigation. He was formally charged on Monday (14Jun10) and accused of sexual interference with a person under the age of 14, sexual assault and touching a young person for a sexual purpose.

backstage was broken into.
Thieves walked away with the band's credit cards, cellphones, cash and
