Avril Lavigne and Brody Jenner have been a lot together, not least getting into a scrap in Aspen last year in an attack which saw both battered and bruised. But what many had considered to be a close relationship now looks to have fallen by the wayside if reports by Us Magazine are to be believed. Indeed the sad news is that the singer and the 'Hills' actor have parted ways, with the reason being thought to be a disagreement in how to balance their relationship with their individual career pursuits.
"Every time he wanted to come back and take meetings to get his career back in order, she would make him go to Asia and Europe," a source had told the publication, going on to suggest that Jenner was starting to feel held back by Lavigne - a sad indictment into the latter's profile as a musician if that is the case. "He hasn't worked and he wants to. They were both unhappy because he wants to have his career, she wants him to stay with her," the insider continued - suggesting that Lavigne had even turned down several TV slots on her boyfriend's behalf.
Though there's been nothing forthcoming from Lavigne's party, Jenner's insider continued to spread the information, commenting "There is always a chance they will get back together, Brody is trying to set the ground rules and wants to be able to work. They have to find a balance."
