All the Stars and Boulevards
A well packaged collection of fairly non-descript alt-rock. Although the songs are well structured, and the voice holds that plaintive mix of pleading angst and gentle tenderness, there is something missing here. This is too laid back to actually go anywhere. Like a distilled version of REM, this is the musical equivalent of Friends. It would be hard to actually pinpoint the sort of person who would actually appreciate this bland cocktail.
