The mother of reality television star Audrina Patridge has apologised for her infamous foul mouthed Dancing With The Stars tirade, reports the UK's Daily Mail. Audrina Patridge's mother Lynn Patridge used the premiere of Audrina's new VH1 show to speak of her "embarrassment" at the footage.
Lynn was captured on camera launching a tirade over Audrina's elimination from Dancing With The Stars last year. As she smoked a cigarette outside a Los Angeles restaurant, Lynn was heard to say, "Last night she f******* kicked ass", adding that her daughter would "rise" because she was "Polish, Catholic, f******* full on Italian and not only that, she was raised right. And I don't give a s***. It's all American". Apologising for the rant, Lynn said, "If I haven't said it before, I want to say I'm sorry for embarrassing my family. Seeing that blew me away". 25-year-old Patridge rose to fame on the reality television show 'The Hills' and is now starring in her own show, 'Audrina', which premiered last night (17th April 2011). The program follows the model as she attempts to juggle her home life with her hectic celebrity lifestyle. The season opener saw Patridge on the hunt for a beach side house in an attempt to thwart the prying eyes of the paparazzi.
Audrina Patridge's former co-star Lauren Conrad was also set to star in her own 'Hills' spin off series but MTV decided to cancel the project. Conrad began filming in mid-October 2010 but the network decided not to pick up the show after viewing the pilot episode.
