French actress Audrey Tautou once dreamed of becoming an apewoman.
The Amelie star is highly regarded as one of her homeland's most talented actresses, and she is being tipped for an Academy Award nomination for her portrayal of fashion guru Coco Chanel in biopic Coco Avant Chanel.
But the beauty insists she wasn't always Oscar bound - she once had her sights set on a career in animal care.
She says, "I didn't plan to become an actress. I had no clue fame would land on me. As a child, I wanted to study monkeys but I changed my mind with the onset of hormones.
"Suddenly I was a teenager and I found partying more interesting than nature, and got into art and theatre and movies."
