French movie star Audrey Tatou received an odd job offer from moviemaker Michel Gondry - it came in the form of an animated movie.
The Amelie star signed on for the director's adaptation of Boris Vian's L'ecume Des Jours after the creative filmmaker sent her an elaborate invitation to be his new leading lady.
Tatou tells the Los Angeles Times, "I received an animation movie that he had made for me one day, when he was proposing me the female part of the story. And it was very charming, poetic and funny.
"It's difficult to explain because it was kind of psychedelic. It was very original and I was touched that he took the time to ask me in that way."
