New York soda restriction debate

Atmosphere - Fast food outlets across New York City display oversized soda cups, which are at the centre of controversy in the Big Apple. New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg has vowed to continue his fight for a ban on the sale of super-sized 16-ounce drinks after he leaves office, admitting he will not be able to resurrect his proposed health measure before his successor comes in. Bloomberg's plan to ban the sugary sodas was overturned by a judge on Monday (11Mar13). - New York City, United States - Tuesday 12th March 2013 (9 Pictures)
