Hunky actor Ashton Kutcher is making strides to re-brand himself with a more serious image - by co-hosting a political dinner.
The 25-year-old, better known for playing pranks on unsuspecting celebrities on his hit TV show PUNK'D and appearing in lightweight films such as DUDE, WHERE'S MY CAR?, will co-host a $1,000 (GBP625)-a-plate function for Senator John Edwards on 29 October (03) in Los Angeles.
The unlikely couple have talked by phone and had dinner together.
However, Edwards' press secretary JENNIFER PALMIERI explains there are stronger common ties between the two, "They have an incredible work ethos and the best hair in their respective fields."23/10/2003 17:35
