Ashton Kutcher pretty much won Mother’s Day by unveiling an amazing present for his mum Diane. He’s renovated the basement of her house is Homestead, Iowa, and caught the reaction on camera.

The actor and his stepfather Mark hired a home-design company called Houzz to help with re-design, which took place in secret over 27 days and was captured for an episode of an upcoming internet series ‘My Houzz’. Apparently, he himself helped with original construction of the house over twenty years ago.

He continued: “So, if I can make this space special for mom and make it a space that she wants to go spend time in, and just really make it beautiful for her, that'd be fulfilling something I've always wanted to do.”
