Ashley Hebert says she is confident of finding love on the forthcoming series of The Bachelorette.
Ashley Hebert, the 26-year-old dental student from Madawaska, Maine, has been unveiled as the new star The Bachelorette, reports People Magazine.Hebert starred in the most recent series of the bachelor, but failed to woo Brad Womack who proposed to the eventual winner Emily Maynard in this week's season finale. Speaking about her time on the show, Hebert said, "A lot of what happened between Brad and me brought out some weird side of me that doesn't define who I am". The student has says she has returned to her natural brunette hair colour for the forthcoming series and added, "People think this was a change to go dark when, actually, the blonde was a change. I went back to my roots". Hebert is a trained ballet and jazz dancer and was also Junior Miss Maine in 2002.
25 male contestants will be vying for Ashley Hebert's affections when 'The Bachelorette' returns on 23rd May 2011. Last year's series saw Ali Fedotowsky choose Roberto Martinez in the season finale and the couple remain together.
