Ashlee Simpson-Wentz says she has never been happier since giving birth to Bronx, her first son with husband Pete Wentz.
Ashlee Simpson-Wentz says motherhood made her a woman.
The 24-year-old star, who gave birth to son Bronx Mowgli last November, says she and her rocker husband Pete Wentz have never been happier since becoming parents.
She said: "Motherhood has made me everything that I am. It's made me the happiest I've ever been in my life. I don't think you ever know until you have a child what an amazing experience it is.
"Every week, I'm learning something new from him and every week, he's doing something new. He's crawling and he's got six teeth now. He says 'mama' and 'dada'.
"Pete is my best friend."
Ashlee feels blessed to be able to juggle starring in US TV show 'Melrose Place' with raising her child.
The singer-and-actress said: "For me, it's good. I'm home in Los Angeles, it's comfortable with me and my son. I like to work, so I get to do both."
The 'Outta My Head' star also revealed Bronx is already showing signs he will follow in his parents' musical footsteps - but they will be happy with whatever career path he chooses.
She added to America's OK! magazine: "He loves music. Lately, he likes classic rock and Broadway music! My home life is all about Bronx.
"Basketball, a lawyer. Even if he wants to be an actor. I'm going to support my son, no matter what."
