Remember when Vin Diesel made a big deal about playing Groot in Guardians of the Galaxy? Yeah, he really wanted you to know he'd landed that part and now, the action star has taken to Facebook to seemingly announce a new opportunity: "are you inhuman?" he asked fans.

It's not the first time that Diesel has expressed an interest in starring in an Inhumans movie - an adaptation of the Marvel comic of the same name. "I get the strange feeling that Marvel thinks I'm Inhuman . Haha", he previously said on Facebook.

The Inhumans movie is set to hit cinemas on November 28, 2018 though a cast has yet to be announced. However, it would seem feasible that Diesel could be involved in both Marvel franchises because he provides a voice for Guardians of the Galaxy.

The Inhumans - a group of superheroes with special powers - debuted in a 1965 issue of Fantastic Four and include the likes of Black Bolt, Medusa, Karnak, Gorgon, Triton, Crystal, Maximus the Mad and Lockjaw. It is unclear who Diesel would play, though Black Bolt is probably a decent bet.

In the comics, the Inhumans' potential reveals itself when they are exposed to something called the Terrigen Mist - a special vapour that gives individuals superpowers.

Though Diesel is likely to return for Guardians of the Galaxy 2, it's only a voice job and given Groot's limited vocabulary, it wouldn't be unthinkable for the actor to appear in both the Guardians sequel and the Inhumans film within a year of each other.
