Tracy Morgan's Condition No Longer Critical: Comedian Upgraded To Fair Ten Days After Crash
The comedian is finally out of the woods, but still has a long recovery ahead.
Tracy Morgan is finally out of critical condition, with his medical practitioners have announced. Over a week after the New Jersey Turnpike pileup that left one dead, two injured and Morgan critical, his condition has now been upgraded to “fair”. The change is considered a “great improvement,” Morgan’s rep said in a statement.
Morgan's condition was critical for a long while after his crash ten days ago.
The terrible crash left the comedian with a plethora of injuries, including a broken femur, several broken ribs and a broken nose. His rep previously announced that Morgan has a long recovery ahead. Part of the process so far has been Morgan’s mental recovery.
"His personality is certainly starting to come back as well," the rep said.
The comedian still has a long recovery to go through.
Morgan’s assistant, Jeffrey Millea was also severely injured and left in critical condition after the crash, but he has also been upgraded to “fair” since then, according to The Mirror.
The nasty collision killed a fellow passenger, comedian James McNair, who performed under the name Jimmy Mack, while comedians Ardie Fuqua and Harris Stanton were also among those injured.
Morgan's assistant, who was critical after the accident, is now if fair condition too.
