Tori Spelling - Tori Spelling And Dean McDermott Work Out Their Issues In New Promo For "True Tori"
The drama continues to unfold in the latest "True Tori" promo.
Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott’s marital troubles are no secret, thanks to their reality show, but in the latest promo for True Tori, released by Us Weekly the couple are delving deeper than ever before. Sitting together on a therapist’s couch, Spelling and McDermott recall all the ways, in which things went wrong for them – especially his cheating.
The troubled couple also have their four young children to think of.
"My worst nightmare is what I did. Absolutely, I cheated on my wife," he tells the therapist as his wife looks on.
"Or that you got caught?" Spelling, 40, interrupts. After a long pause and a few deep breaths, the Chopped Canada host, 47, admits, "I don't know."
How dramatic. The Spelling-McDermott family troubles have been a hot topic since December 2013, when McDermott’s affair with 28-year-old Emuly Goodhand came to light. Five months later, the couple, who were rumored to have financial troubles last year, are ironing out their problems on camera – for a fee, of course. It sounds like they get straight to the heart of the problem too. McDermott’sMcDermott talks about his disappointments when it came to the couple's sex life.
"We had sex once every two weeks. It wasn't fantastic," he tells the therapist.
It looks like the two are trying hard to work things out.
His admission should definitely secure True Tori good opening ratings. Things get heated as the clip goes on.
"I can never give him enough sex!" Spelling replies. "He's never going to be happy with just me."
McDermott, fresh out of rehab at the time of filming, defends himself with the classic “it meant nothing” excuse.
"I wasn't attracted to her. It was just like a warm body," he says of Goodhand. "Sex was an escape, just like drugs and alcohol."
That’s where the clip cuts out, but it looks like we can count on more revelations during the first episode. Lifetime's True Tori premieres Tuesday, April 23 at 10 p.m. ET.
