Mick Jagger feels ready to hit the stage again.

The Rolling Stones are heading back onto the road to continue their tour, which was postponed earlier this spring following the death of L'Wren Scott, Jagger's longtime girlfriend.

The 70 year-old frontman took to Twitter to spread the good news.

"Had a beautiful walk in Frogner Park, Oslo yesterday," he tweeted on Monday (May 26th). "Looking forward to the first show! Mick #StonesOslo."

Last March the iconic rock & roll band postponed their tour of Australia and New Zealand to give Jagger time to grieve for Scott.

The body of the fashion designer was discovered in her Manhattan apartment after an apparent suicide over two months ago.

The 49 year-old's assistant found her hanging from a scarf on a doorknob at 200 11th Avenue around 10am, on the morning of March 17th.

Several days after this tragedy, Jagger posted a heartfelt statement on his Facebook page.

"I am still struggling to understand how my lover and best friend could end her life in this tragic way," he wrote. "We spent many wonderful years together and had made a great life for ourselves."

"She had great presence and her talent was much admired, not least by me," an emotional Jagger continued. "I have been touched by the tributes that people have paid to her, and also the personal messages of support that I have received."
