Taylor Swift Mouths "Shut The F*ck Up" To One Direction During Band's VMA Acceptance Speech [Video]
Perhaps the singer was still feeling hung-up following her split from 1D heartthrob Harry Styles when she was caught out by the cameraman
Taylor Swift may just have had her very own Kanye West moment at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday (25 August) night, as the singer was seemingly spotted dissing One Direction during their introductory speech for the Best Pop Video gong. The boyband were reading out the nominees and about to welcome on to the stage the winner of the award; Selena Gomez (for the track 'Come and Get It'), when the camera cut to the 'I Knew You Were Trouble' singer, who appeared to be mouthing "shut the f*ck up" towards them. We wonder if Harry Styles had anything to do with this.

Given her tumulus time together with 1D's resident casanova, there was little surprise in knowing that she isn't exactly the group's biggest fan, but after carving out an image of herself as the golden girl of pop, it did come as a surprise to find out that she had such a dirty mouth. Just as Louis Tomlinson was about to read out Selena's name, the camera moved to Taylor, who seemed to be cussing under her breath. Check out a Vine video of the incident below and see what you think about Taylor's apparent diss while the boys were only doing as they'd been told (thanks to The Mirror for providing the video).
Admittedly, it is pretty hard to see exactly what it is that Taylor is saying, unless you are an expert lip-reader that is, but it doesn't exactly look like she's commenting on how nice Niall's hair is or how much she hopes Selena's name will be read out. The scowl on her face and the movement of her lips seem to indicate one thing; that she wasn't paying the boyband any compliments under her breath. Still, it wasn't all bad for Swift or the boys on the night, as she took home the award for Best Female Video - seemingly dedicating her award to Styles as the inspiration behind 'I Knew You Were Trouble' - and they won the Best Summer Song award for 'Best Song Ever.'

This isn't the first time Swift has been spotted behaving against her 'golden girl' character at an awards show either. Earlier this year at the Billboard Music Awards, a backstage camera caught Swift and her pal Selena walking into the same room as Selena's ex Justin Bieber, with the two former flames sharing a friendly hug and kiss on the cheek, something that Swift reacted to in horror as she screwed up her face and put out her tongue in disgust. At the 2014 Grammy Awards, expect Taylor to get up on stage and interrupt Kanye West's acceptance speech...or something like that.
